Social media users operating under the platform of ASAJ Ambassadors have formally endorsed Hon. Abdulkareem Sabo Abdullahi Jimeta as their preferred candidate for the Yola South, Yola North and Girei Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The endorsement was announced during a well-attended programme held at the Nursing Home Conference Hall in Yola, where supporters, stakeholders and youth groups gathered to declare their support for the former Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Speaker of Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, the Director General of Media for ASAJ Ambassadors, Hon. Waziri Gago, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to mobilizing grassroots support for Hon. Sabo through issue based advocacy.
He emphasized that their campaign would be conducted in a clean, respectful and transparent manner, devoid of blackmail or political hostility.
In his remarks, the DG of ASAJ Ambassadors described Hon. Abdulkareem Sabo as a competent and experienced candidate, noting that his vast knowledge of legislative processes and exposure from working with international organizations place him in a strong position to effectively represent the constituency.
Also speaking at the event, community mobilizers Madam Blessing and Hajara Dahiru called on supporters to intensify grassroots engagement by reaching every nook and cranny of the constituency to canvass votes. They described Hon. Sabo as a credible and worthy representative capable of delivering quality leadership.
In his remarks, Hon. Abdulkareem Sabo Abdullahi Jimeta advised individuals to come out and actively participate in the political process, rather than remaining mere political supporters, but to be fully involved.
He also called on youths to avoid blackmail and abusive behavior on social media and wherever they find themselves, urging them to promote responsible and respectful engagement at all times.
In a goodwill message, Mallam Usman Yusuf, a beneficiary of Hon. Sabo’s empowerment programme in Abuja, expressed gratitude for the support and generosity, noting that such initiatives reflect his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents.
The endorsement marks a significant boost to Hon. Abdulkareem Sabo Abdullahi Jimeta’s political ambition, as momentum continues to build ahead of the forthcoming electoral contest.
