Governor Fintiri sends strong warning to terrorists, vows to crush attacks

The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has strongly condemned the recent attacks on communities in Madagali and Hong Local Government Areas, describing the incidents as cowardly acts of terrorism that will not be tolerated.

In a firm warning to criminal elements, Governor Fintiri through his Chief Press Secretary Humwahashi Wonisikou declared that his administration would not allow terrorists to undermine the hard-earned peace and stability in the state.

“We will not let terrorists undermine our efforts to restore peace and stability. I warn perpetrators to desist from these senseless attacks or face the full weight of our collective resolve,” the Governor stated.
He reassured residents that his government remains fully committed to defeating terrorism and safeguarding lives and property across Adamawa.
“We have done this before, and we are determined to do it again,” he said, pledging to intensify collaboration with security agencies to ensure the protection of citizens and bring those responsible to justice.

Governor Fintiri urged residents of the affected areas and the state at large to remain calm and continue their lawful activities without fear.

“We have your back. We will protect you and your livelihoods,” he assured.
The Governor commended security agencies for their bravery, resilience, and dedication in responding to the attacks, pledging sustained government support to strengthen ongoing operations.

He further appealed to the people of Adamawa to continue supporting the government’s efforts in the fight against insecurity.
“Together, we will triumph over terrorism and build a brighter future for our state,” he affirmed.
