Comrade Mustapha Salihu Empowers Youth and Women Worth Over N15 Million in Adamawa

The National Vice Chairman (North-East) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD, has empowered young entrepreneurs and women in Adamawa State with a total sum of N15 million under the 2nd Edition of his foundation Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Project, 2025.

The empowerment initiative is part of Salihu’s ongoing human development efforts aimed at supporting youth and women towards self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.

As part of the disbursement, 10 beneficiaries received one million, while 10 members of the APC State Executive Council (EXCO) were each given 500,000, bringing the total to 15 million.

The beneficiaries had earlier undergone intensive training sessions on business and entrepreneurship development, designed to equip them with practical skills and knowledge for managing small and medium-scale enterprises.

Speaking during the presentation, the State Chairman of the Amalgamation of APC Youths, Comrade Mohammed Ahmed Marafa who is also the secretary of the empowerment committee, lauded Comrade Mustapha Salihu for his consistent empowerment initiatives, describing him as a true party leader committed to grassroots development. He assured that such gestures would continue in the spirit of youth inclusion and empowerment.

One of the beneficiaries, Abdulwahab Haruna, who received 1 million, expressed profound gratitude, describing the gesture as life-changing.

Another beneficiary, Hon. Faiza Abubakar, appreciated Comrade Salihu for recognizing women in the empowerment scheme, saying, “We will use the funds to grow our businesses and also support others in our communities.”

Also speaking, APC State Financial Secretary, Abdullahi Wali, commended the initiative as timely and impactful, noting that it reflects deliberate efforts by Comrade Salihu to improve the economic well-being of youth and women in Adamawa State.

He added that such empowerment projects align with the APC’s vision of building a self-reliant and economically empowered citizenry.
