APC Ready to Sweep Adamawa LG Polls ~ Belel

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Hon. Muhammad Yunusa Belel, has declared that the party is fully prepared and strategically positioned to win the forthcoming local government chairmen and councillorship elections across the state.

Belel made this assertion during a press briefing in Yola, where he expressed strong confidence in the party’s grassroots strength, internal cohesion, and growing national dominance.
According to him, the APC remains the strongest political party in Nigeria, noting that the recent wave of defections by serving governors and other key political actors into the party is a clear indication of its nationwide appeal and stability.

“The APC is solid, united, and ready. We are prepared to emerge victorious in the upcoming local government elections in Adamawa State. Our structure at the ward, local government, and state levels is active and committed,” Belel said.

The APC stakeholder also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for what he described as bold and effective leadership, particularly in addressing food affordability and national security challenges.

Belel praised the Tinubu administration for policies that have contributed to the gradual reduction in food prices, adding that the improved security architecture under the leadership of the NSA has helped restore confidence in many parts of the country.

“President Tinubu has shown courage and determination in tackling economic and security issues head-on. We also commend NSA Ribadu for standing tall and taking decisive steps to confront insecurity,” he stated.
Calling for unity within the party and across the country, Belel urged APC members and Nigerians at large to continue supporting the incumbent president to enable him to fully deliver on his reform agenda.

He emphasized that national progress can only be achieved through collective effort, political unity, and sustained support for policies aimed at economic recovery and lasting peace.

The briefing ended with a renewed call for party loyalists in Adamawa State to remain mobilized, disciplined, and focused ahead of the local government elections, which Belel described as a crucial step in strengthening democracy at the grassroots level.
