As part of ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and efficiency in the disbursement of credit facilities, the ADAS Programme (ADAS-P), in collaboration with the management of Adamawa Mortgage Bank, held a strategic meeting with grain merchants from the Mubi Grain Market.
The engagement focused on outlining the modalities for accessing the credit facility, as well as establishing clear and workable repayment procedures. Both parties reached a mutual understanding on the framework to ensure smooth implementation of the initiative.
In a related development, the delegation, led by ADAS Programme implementation committee Chairman, Dr. Ahmed Garba, also met with cattle dealers in Mubi who benefited from the programme’s credit capital disbursed in early March 2026.
The meeting provided an avenue to deliberate on repayment processes and profit-sharing arrangements to ensure sustainability of the scheme.
Speaking during the engagements, the beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and the ADAS Programme for the financial support.
They pledged to make judicious use of the funds and to justify the confidence reposed in them.
