The endorsement was made during a courtesy visit and engagement meeting held at the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Secretariat, Yola, where leaders and representatives of more than 30 youth groups under the AAYO umbrella gathered to discuss strategies for strengthening youth participation and party unity across the state.

In his opening address, the Chairman of AAYO, Amb. Mohammed Ahmed Marafa, highlighted the group’s achievements and outlined upcoming initiatives designed to deepen grassroots mobilization and social impact.

Among its notable past programs were a Leadership Training in honor of Comr. Mustapha Salihu, a Free Medical Outreach across several communities, and an Empowerment Scheme amounting to ₦1 million for party members, implemented through the Mustapha Salihu Foundation.

The organization also unveiled upcoming activities across the three senatorial zones, including educational support projects, mini football competitions, town hall meetings, and medical outreaches, as well as a special program to celebrate the birthday of the NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

Speaking on behalf of the youth organizations, AAYO reaffirmed its loyalty to the APC and acknowledged the “exemplary leadership, commitment, and service” of Barr. Idris Shuaibu’s-led State Working Committee, Comr. Mustapha Salihu, and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

The group also presented three major requests to the party leadership:

1. Inclusiveness in Party Affairs — advocating greater youth representation in political structures and appointments, and access to capacity-building programs.

2. Preparation Toward the 2027 Elections — calling for the identification and support of youth-friendly candidates capable of driving peace, empowerment, and sustainable development.

3. Support for the 2025 APC Youth Conference — seeking collaboration for the upcoming youth conference slated for December 17, 2025, in Yola.

Responding on behalf of the APC State Working Committee, the Organizing Secretary, Comr. > “The energy, loyalty, and creativity of our youths are the lifeblood of our party’s future. We will continue to work with you to ensure the APC remains the dominant force in Adamawa politics,” he said.

The meeting concluded with renewed pledges of unity, cooperation, and strategic engagement ahead of future party activities and electoral cycles.
