The All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa Unity Forum has commended the National Vice Chairman (Northeast) of the party, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, PhD, for his consistent human development initiatives that continue to transform the lives of young men and women across Adamawa State.

In a statement signed by Hon. Hussaini Ahmadu Har, Director of Media and Publicity of the Forum, the group lauded Dr. Salihu for empowering another batch of youth and women entrepreneurs, describing the beneficiaries as “newly made millionaires” through his ongoing empowerment programme.

According to the Forum, the initiative—launched in September 2025—is a people-oriented intervention aimed at improving the economic capacity of resilient youths who have remained loyal to the party before and after elections. It is designed to be a continuous monthly exercise to promote productivity and self-reliance among the youth.

The Forum further praised the transparent and merit-based selection process coordinated by Hon. Bello Baballo and his team, where applicants presented business proposals publicly before a panel of assessors comprising both party and non-party members.

“Dr. Mustapha Salihu’s foresight in empowering youths through sustainable means deserves emulation. We call on other political and community leaders to take a cue from his people-centered approach to leadership,” the statement read.

The Forum also expressed appreciation to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Special Adviser to the President on National Security, for his unwavering commitment to party unity and strength in Adamawa, noting that the APC continues to attract new defectors weekly.

It concluded by congratulating the newly selected beneficiaries of the empowerment programme’s second batch, which includes:

1. Modi Adamu Gadafali

2. Mohammed Malpetel Modibboo

3. Ibrahim Musa Zubairu

4. Ado Bello Jimeta

5. Haruna Abdultawab

6. Ramson Adiel Nahunleyi

7. Hon. Faiza Abubakar

8. Magdaline Buba
