Adamawa Teachers’ Recruitment CBT Exam Progresses Smoothly, NUT Expresses Satisfaction

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the recruitment of 5,000 teachers in Adamawa State is ongoing smoothly at the Lamido Zubairu Education Centre, Yola.

Speaking to newsmen during a supervision at the Centre,the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Adamawa state chapter Comrade Faisal Muhammad Abubakar, commended the applicants for their orderly conduct throughout the exercise. He assured that, as a member of the recruitment committee, only the most qualified candidates would be selected.

Comrade Faisal also appreciated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for initiating the recruitment exercise aimed at strengthening the state’s education sector.

Comrade Faisal advised successful teachers and forthcoming teachers to take their jobs with all seriousness and work in line with guidelines for teaching profession.

The process is expected to be completed on or before December 2025.

Some applicants, including Aisha Abubakar and David Monday, expressed satisfaction with the organization and transparency of the process.

The recruitment committee was given two weeks ultimatum to select the most qualified teachers for enrollment in to the Adamawa State Primary and Post Primary Schools a cross the state.
