A humanitarian organisation, Action Against Hunger, has commended the Adamawa State Agribusiness Support Programme (ADAS-P) for providing a conducive environment that enabled the organisation to effectively implement its activities across Adamawa State.
The commendation was made during a courtesy visit by officials of Action Against Hunger from the organisation’s Maiduguri headquarters in Borno State to the ADAS Programme office in Yola, Adamawa State.
The visit was aimed at strengthening existing collaboration, consolidating areas of synergy, and expanding future interventions.
It also focused on discussions surrounding the implementation of a workshop organised in Yola as part of the organisation’s development initiatives.
Speaking during the engagement, the Lead Consultant and Chief Operating Officer of the ADAS Programme, Alh. Yunusa Ibrahim Gafai, called for a detailed presentation on the activities and interventions of Action Against Hunger to explore possible areas for expansion and enhanced partnership.
Also speaking, the Head of Component One of the ADAS Programme, James Birdling appreciated Action Against Hunger for the visit and reaffirmed the programme’s commitment to sustaining productive collaboration with development partners.
Meanwhile, the ADAS Programme, led by Alhaji Yunusa Ibrahim Gafai, and Head of Component one Mr. James Bridling was also represented at a workshop on legal clinics for transhumance and cross-border livestock trade, aimed at promoting lawful and seamless and safe trading activities across borders.
